Chief Executive Officer
With over 20 years experience in the financial industry, Edy Tuhirman joining Generali Indonesia as Chief Executive Officer. For more than a decade, Edy pioneered and build bancassurance business in Indonesia and at the same time leading the bancassurance business in a leading and trusted bank. By his action, Edy has led Generali in the insurance industry with a healthy growth at the same time rapidly.
Obtaining a degree that is very different from the industry which he elaborated, which he achieved in Electrical Engineering at the University of Brawijaya, Malang, his spirit in the insurance industry and the desire to improve people's lives, encouraged him to continue to enrich products and services Generali. Life experiences have inspired and encouraged Edy to continue innovating financial solutions.
Edy also holds an MBA in General Management from Management Development Institute Indonesia, Jakarta; CPM (Certified Professional Marketer) of Asia Pacific Marketing Federation and FLMI rated "With Distinction".
Agency & Marketing Group Head
Wianto Chen trusted as Sales Director Generali Indonesia since the joining in May 2011. With more than 20 years experience in the field of agency both in sales and marketing; development of distribution; and the pioneer of agent manager, Wianto Chen continues to build effective businesses and develop innovative business foundation.
Wianto Chen holds a Finance and Accounting from the University Nommensen, Indonesia. He is also a member of FPAI, CFP ™ from FPSB - Denver, AEPP of EPPL and The Society of Will Writers Practitioners, as well as an honorary member of the ILC SCI Singapore.
In the course of his career, he has achieved various brilliant achievements, the construction of 27 sales offices and agents Generali recruit nearly 1,000 licensed agents over a period of 6 months in 2011.
Financial Group Head
Edy has more than 19 years of experience as an auditor in one of the “Big Four” audit firms handling variety of clients involving in manufacturing, banking, oil & gas, and service industries, with additional experience in financial due diligence projects and taxation.
Prior to joining Generali Indonesia, Edy has gained experience in life insurance industry for 6 years, covering areas of financial management, business operations, insurance product development, actuarial services and general administration. His insurance experience include as CFO in a Japanese based life insurance company and as head of financial reporting, budget and taxation in a Canadian based life insurance company.
Edy graduated from University of Indonesia majoring in Accounting and is holding Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA) and Insurance Risk Management Level V. He is also taking an active role in Indonesia Life Insurance Association as head of accounting working group.
Internal Control & Risk Management Group Head
Hand Wuri trusted to be the Chief of Internal Control and Risk Management to improve business processes Generali in Indonesia. Throughout the course of a career spanning more than 20 years, Wuri focuses on the development of the system of internal control and risk management. She focused on the field that expected to encourage aware of the risk and control environment and organization as an integral part in the development of the business.
Wuri attained a Bachelor of Administrative Management, Actuarial and Banking Studies, Concentration Actuary of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia. Wuri also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Management Master of Information Systems Management Gunadarma School of Information and Computer.
Not only that, Wuri also gained the Black Belt Certified, accredited by the IFSS (instituted for Six Sigma), Fellow of the Life Management Institute With Distinction, accreditation by LOMA (Life Office Management Association), Associate Customer Service With Honors, accreditation by LOMA (Life Office Management Association) and Associate of the Society of Actuaries of Indonesia (ASAI), accredited by the Society of Actuaries of Indonesia.
Muhamad Umar Johan Sidik
Human Capital Group Head
Prior to joining Generali as Chief Investment Officer, Muhammad Umar Johan Sidik has over 14 years of experience in Finance and Investment Management. Sidik also has tremendous role in various committees of the Board level Product Development, ALM and Risk Management functions support the prints nicely in investment management and ALM functions of the company.
Throughout his career, Sidik entrusted with various responsibilities including investment management, product development, and business development, sales & marketing for institutional, bank distribution partners and customers abroad.
Sidik holds holds the Investment Manager of the Indonesian Capital Market Supervisory Agency and has a Master of Finance Capital Market, from the University of Antwerp Management School (UAMS), Belgium. He is one of four members of the team from UAMS Antwerpen1 that institution Simulation Competition won first prize Equity Portfolio-Management of the University of the Netherlands and Belgium, with Fortis Investments, Belgium.
Marihot Asi Pasaribu
Human Capital Group Head
Marihot first joined Generali Indonesia as Chief of Partnership Distribution. He has more than 20 years of experience in banking and insurance industry, particularly in sales and marketing field and his credentials include bancassurance business development and product development in several bank and insurance companies. His excellent skill of dealing with various types of people has brought him to his current position; Chief of Human Capital.
He graduated from Central Queensland University, Australia, majoring in Business (Marketing Management). He also took several professional courses such as; Fellow Life Management Institute (FLMI), Associate Customer Service (ACS), and Associate Insurance Agency Administration (AIAA) from LOMA, USA, and also Associate Financial Planner (AFP) from FP School of Finance, Singapore.
Director and Operations Group Head
Jutany has over 21 years of experience in various leadership roles within life insurance industry. She worked with multinational companies (AMP, AXA, Panin Dai-ichi) in the area of sales, marketing and product development, operations and IT. She also involved in setting up new operations, major acquisition of new venture partnership, business process improvement and reengineering in operations area.
Jutany joins Generali Indonesia in September 2016, responsible for operations and IT area. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting from Nommesen University and obtained his Master’s degree, majoring in Marketing from Pelita Harapan University.
R Arry Bagoes Wibowo
Legal & Compliance Group Head
Arry has more than 20 years of experience in unique Indonesia’s legal environment with extensive expertise in commercial practice, corporate affairs, litigation proceeding and disputes settlement. He served several prominent insurance companies (Jasindo, AIG, Avrist, Cigna), including multinational retail sales companies (Panasonic and Oriflame) with multidisciplinary roles as Director of Corporate Affairs, Legal & Compliance and Country’s General Counsel.
He’s been involved in various working group representing cross-industries association as regulator’s counterpart for development process of laws and regulations such as Antitrust Law, Trade Laws and Consumer Protection. Currently He actively participates at Legal Working Group of Indonesia Life Insurance Association (AAJI). He is also a frequent speaker on various forum for many topics such as Human Capital, Motivational, Consumer Protection and Financial Literacy Program.
Arry attained a Bachelor of Law, majoring in Civil Law, from Sebelas Maret University (UNS) and obtained his Master’s degree, majoring in Economic Law, from University of Indonesia (UI). He is also a certified lawyer/attorney at law (advocate) since 2000 and active member of PERADI (Indonesian Advocates Association) and ICCA (Indonesian Corporate Counsel Association).
